Regular update report on the Court Case of Lukasz with Starling Bank

Should people know about this story? SHARE IT

Recently we promised to start sharing with broad public the stories how Starling Bank steals monies from their users.

The first case discussed here started on February 25th 2021, when Starling Bank did their usual move and froze an account of Lukasz. Lukasz had almost £8000 in his account when he realized – hey, he can access the account but can’t transfer out his money. He contacted the bank, sent them all documents requested.

On March 10, 2021, Lukasz received a confirmation from the bank that clearly said:

“There is nothing else you need to do at this stage, if we need any further information we will contact you in the next few days”

Below you will see 2 extracts from the case:

  1. Screenshot showing that Starling Bank is satisfied with documents and promises to contact Lukasz in few days. Big lies.
  2. Extract for the Defence of Starling Bank, where the bank is denying that Lukasz has provided adequate information to satisfy the Bank or to enable it to conclude its Investigation.

One would think that a bank would pay out the frozen monies when the Case reaches the Court. What about Starling Bank? No! Can’t care less – Starling Bank is confident that it is their money!!

Dear reader, we urge to be careful with Starling Bank and make your own conclusions from the information we provide you with.

Also a note – Starling lawyers do not want these cases to go public and there are many laws that help them. We believe it is our mission to make the Cases heard to the general public.

TIG Consult will raise a question on reviewing the banking license of Starling Bank when the Case is assigned to a County Court as the Defendant is practicing a scheme of freezing accounts that have money in them and ignoring support requests. Also, Starling clearly knows that taking them to the Court will cost a user much more than is in the closed account, and Starling uses this.

  1. Worst experience ever, they have restricted our bank account for over 1 month now and all I get back as a response is “they are reviewing my account” I need to pay staff wages and suppliers but cannot access my own fund
oh BTW 100% of my funds came from online sales via PayPal just to clarify
I would recommend everyone to stay away from these banks as they will restrict their funds use them elsewhere all in the process of restricting your account

This is another proof that people should stay away from Starling, Monese and Monzo.
